I didn't choose the cat life; the cat life chose me!
In 2017 while living longterm in Japan, I rescued my first stray cat on the streets of a small countryside Japanese town: a sick, blind three-month-old kitten. She sparked more stray rescues, adoptions and rehoming efforts, eventually leading me to owning three of my rescue cats and discovering my cat whisperer gift!
Meowfolk was inspired by my international travels after becoming an unexpectant cat mom. Every year I traveled overseas while living in Japan, and struggled to find adequate pet care for my three cats, all with special needs and separation anxiety. These experiences inspired me to offer exclusive cat care services catered to fellow cat parents and owners. And here we are!
My ins-purr-ation
As a paw-rent myself, I know alllll about the joys (and occasional frustrations) of owning and loving a cat. Plus, I understand what you’re looking for when searching for the purr-fect cat care provider.
My affection for my kitties inspired me to learn everything I could about their temperaments, behaviors and care, especially those with special needs. I wouldn’t be where I am without my playful-yet-dominant blind tortie (Olivia); talkative toothless tabby (Mufasa); and asthmatic tabby I’ve affectionately dubbed my hungry hippo (Zaia).
I truly love our feline friends and can’t wait to extend that passion in caring for yours!

Meowfolk was born out of patience, determination, and a whole lot of heart. My mom inspired my love for cats and was my biggest cheerleader throughout this journey. Though she passed just before our original launch, her spirit and love are still with me every step of the way. Thank you, mom!
